Van Gogh’s sunflowers

Why did Van Gogh paint so many sunflowers? They make people happy. So, I am bringing the sunshine and happiness into the art room. Thanks for all of the sunflower donations!

The Dot paintings are a hit for K-1 students!

I loved watching my K-1 students explore painting with a dot applicator.They loved exploring the colors and removing the dot to create a circle using negative space.

My art room at Dixie

So, my room layout is a labor of love.  It is the cleanest it has ever been! Sometimes to much clutter can clutter creativity. I am proud of my warm classroom environment and welcome all visitors and volunteers.
